Juneteenth Passport

Issue #9

Welcome, Culture Crew

What. A. Time.

We’re still buzzing from the rhythm, the joy, and the pride that lit up San Antonio over the past two weeks. From sunup to sundown, y’all showed out—in every sense of the word. Whether you were hitting the streets in your finest for the Freedom Parade or soaking up stories at a community panel, one thing was crystal clear: this wasn’t just a celebration. It was a movement.

And at Culture Travels Media, we felt honored to witness every moment with you.

CULTURE - JUNETEENTH
Juneteenth 2025

Flavors of Travels

We danced. We walked. We showed up.

Juneteenth in San Antonio was nothing short of a living, breathing archive of Black resilience. From the elders sharing ancestral wisdom at storytelling circles, to the Gen Z creatives remixing tradition with fresh energy—every event proved one thing: Black freedom is not a moment in history. It’s a future we’re actively building.

Wellness runs reminded us that liberation includes caring for our bodies.
Pageants and parades crowned our brilliance.
Panels unpacked truth and pushed conversations forward.
And every single block party? A whole vibe.

This was more than a local moment—it was part of a global rhythm. Whether you're in Houston, Harlem, Haiti, or Harare, our stories are interconnected. We saw echoes of the diaspora in every beat, every bite, every "hey cousin!"

Coming Soon: Keep an eye out for our official Juneteenth recap—photos, video highlights, and behind-the-scenes gems from the celebration.

Juneteenth Passport Stampers: If you collected stamps across city events, you’re in the running for our Culture Travels gift pack—curated with love to keep you rooted and recharged.

We want to hear from you: Hit reply and tell us—what was your favorite Juneteenth moment? Your feedback fuels next year’s experience.
