And that’s a wrap! We’ve just finished production on the first part of our exciting new travel cooking show, Flavors of Travel. This weekend, our host, Marie, took us to San Antonio to explore the deep connections between food, culture, and soul.

One highlight? A visit to the incredible Beyond Flavor Food Truck, where every dish tells a story and every flavor reflects the cultural heritage of the chefs!

Travel Spotlight: HBCU All-Star Game and NCAA Men’s Final Four Come to San Antonio

San Antonio is heating up in March and April, making it a can’t-miss destination for sports and culture enthusiasts.

• March: The NCAA Men’s Final Four lands in San Antonio, showcasing some of the most thrilling moments in college basketball. We’re proud to announce that our founder will be MC’ing and moderating a panel at the NCAA Men’s Final Four Tip-Off Press Conference, adding Culture Travels' voice to this iconic event!

• April: The excitement continues with the 5th Annual HBCU All-Star Game, an incredible event celebrating the talent and excellence of athletes from historically Black colleges and universities.

We were thrilled to sit down with Travis Williams, CEO of HBCU All-Stars, to dive into the event's cultural significance and what fans can expect this year. Check out a clip of the interview here for an exclusive look into this celebration of Black athleticism, culture, and excellence.

CULTURE SPOTLIGHT
Celebrating MLK in the Outdoors

There’s so much more to our leaders than what’s written in history books. Did you know that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. loved the outdoors? He even wrote part of his Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech while fly fishing in the Bahamas—a rare moment of peace for a man dedicated to justice.

In honor of Dr. King, we joined the amazing organization Brothers With The Land for a special MLK Day hike. Fathers and sons embarked on a journey to the mountaintop, where they listened to a recording of King’s final speech, “I’ve Been to the Mountaintop.”

At the summit, they reflected on how Dr. King’s legacy inspires them today. This moving moment reminded us that celebrating his life means stepping into the world, connecting with nature, and honoring his message of unity and hope.
