😎 TRAVEL TO DETROIT!
THE MOTOWN MUSEUM WAS LEGENDARY!

Culture Travels visits The Motown Museum during a trip to Detroit.

I can’t shake the image of the Jackson 5, led by Micheal Jackson, steppin’ and snappin’ and singing “ABC, 123, ABC” in front of a group of Japanese women in Tokyo!

During our recent visit to Detroit to attend the BOMESI Black Owned Media Weekend, our team had the opportunity to visit the legendary Motown Museum. It was crazy to learn that Barry Gordy started what would eventually become the music and entertainment empire known as Motown with a $800 loan from his family-funded bank. He wanted $1000.

That $800 would become an 8-House musical production behemoth that would give us classics from musical talents like the Jackson 5, The Temptations, Diana and the Supremes, Mary Well, Stevie Wonder, and Marvin Gaye.
