WE’RE HEADED TO TULSA!

Onikah Asamoa-Caesar is the owner and founder of Fulton Street.

Last year, we visited Tulsa, Oklahoma. It’s a trip we strongly suggest you take. Why? Because you’ll leave inspired and amazed by the entrepreneurial spirit of Black Tulsans.

We had the privilege of meeting one of those entrepreneurs, Onikah Asamoa-Caesar - owner and founder of Fulton Street Books and Coffee. Five minutes into her space you feel the culture, community, and spirit of Black Wall Street. Onikah says this is why she created Fulton Street, to be “a space for Black stories, community, and to continue the legacy of Black Wall Street.”

Similarly, Culture Travels was created to be a space for Black travel stories, and community, and to continue the legacy of Black internationalism. In that spirit, we are excited to announce Culture Travels magazine will have a home at Fulton Street bookstore on Black Wall Street.

Myself, Onikah, and my friend, Dr. Langston Clark

As Onikah put it, “I’m fully invested in your magazine. You have a home with us. Let’s get you here.” We’ll keep you updated on our transition to Black Wall Street. In the meantime, grab your copy of issue #3 while there’s still a few left.
